The Art Features of Zhang Tian-yi’s Fantasy Stories

Zhang Tianyi, one of the greatest writers in Chinese modern and contemporary literature history who has made outstanding achievements in two areas: Adults literature and literature for children. This is extremely rare in China’s contemporary literary circles . However, as such a distinguished author , Zhang did not received sufficient attention. His research is lacking in both depth and breadth. This article’s attempt is from the three perspectives of his fantasy stories’ unique artistic charm(comic-style,characteristics from the folklore, fantasy atmosphere)for a new sorting, and explore.
