Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of using Clearing-Heat and Nourishing-Qi Methodbased Chinese traditional medicine soup to treat children patients with functional dyspepsia(FD).Method:238 cases of children patients with FD was randomly divided into the observe group with 178 cases and the control group with 60 cases. The observe group was treated with Chinese traditional medicine soup, and the control group was given Motilium(Domperidone).Children patients' symptoms include:abdominal pain, abdominal distension, eructation, anorexia and constipation were observed and clinically graded,as well as the measurement of two groups' children's gastric emptying rate at different times before and after the treatment. Results:The total effective rate of the observe group and the control group was 87.63% and 55%(P0.01),and both groups' gastric emptying rate after meals were dramatically increased(P0.05,P0.01).However,there was no obvious difference between the two groups(P0.01,P0.01).Conclusion:Comparing to the control group of taking Motilium orally,Clearing-Heat and Nourishing-Qi Methodbased Chinese traditional medicine soup is clinically more effective to children with functional dyspepsia, which also has less adverse reations.
