Research on the Procedures and Methods of Planting Plan and Design

Plant landscape is one of the important components of landscape planning and design, and fruitful results have been achieved in planning and design and engineering practices. However, facing the situation of the unprecedented prosperity of urban modernization, and the increasingly larger scale, broader field and more contents of landscape architecture, traditionalplant landscape methods are no longer fully applicable to the plant planning and design in modern landscape architecture. The paper elaborates the procedures and methods of plant landscape planning and design from the six phases of situation analysis, conceptual planning, design, development design, construction design, and on-site adjustment, in order to better guide the construction and development of plant landscape in modern landscape architecture.
