Abstract
In order to study fatigue life of weldline in heavy wagon carbody,a complex finite element model of ore carbody with heavy axle load is established and analyzed when it is supported to static loads form AAR standard. Then,a fatigue analysis model of the carbody including key weldlines is bulit, fatigue life prediction for these weldlines is performed by the equivalent structural stress method and load spectrum of AAR,and weld lines of more shorter fatigue life are pointed out. The improved structure is proposed to be put forward on the basis of structural stress analysis at weldlines, and their fatigue life is increased greatly.
