Abstract
Objective To evaluate combo therapy with fludarabine, cytarabine, and G-CSF (FLAG) for relapsed and refractory acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). Methods The combo therapy of FLAG was applied in the treatment of 20 patients with relapsed and refractory AML. Results Eight (40%) patients achieved complete remission (CR), and four (20%) partial remission, non-remission five, and death three, the effective power being 60%. The main side effects were gastrointestinal tract reactions and bone marrow depression. Conclusion FLAG therapy is effective for relapsed and refractory acute myeloid leukaemia.
