Abstract

Objective To analysis the expression of livin and caspase-3 of and their correlation in basal cell carcinoma(BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma(SCC).Methods The expression of livin protein and caspase-3 protein in 2.Scases of BBC and 18 cases of SCC were detected by using immunohistochemistry assay.Result①The positive expression rate of livin was higher in BCC and SCC than that in normal skin.②The positive rate of caspase-3 was lower in BCC and SCC than that in normal skin.③The result showed the expression of livin protein was negatively correlated with caspase-3 in BBC and SCC.Conclusion The expression of livin in BCC and SCC tissue were high,while the expression of Caspase-3 protein,and there were negatively Corelationship between them, livin and caspase-3 may play important role in the carcinogenesis of BCC and SCC together.
