Abstract

There has been a contradiction between the pursuit of morality in social development and the existence of immorality in economic development. A moral paradox appears in the society as well as in enterprises. In order to understand the internal relationship of the paradox, and build a moral system compatible with the socialist market economy, we should start with the establishment of a market-player notion that a man of economy is also a man of morality under socialist market economy, and set up a framework of morality encouraging both interests and virtues. The moral system of an enterprise is established through the improvement of the staff quality. Therefore, improving the quality of the staff is the fundamental strategy to solve the moral paradox of market economy and set up a new moral system of the new age.
