Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of butylphthalide( NBP) on the learning and memory abilities of chronic alcoholism rats,H2 S content and the expression of F-actin in the hippocampus of chronic alcoholism rats. Methods 50 male SD rats were randomly divided into five groups.in addition to control group, the rats were reared by the water containing wine. The alcohol content was gradually increased to establish the free drinking modeling. After 42 d,6 h after drinking rat models were detected by chronic alcoholism withdrawal score sheet. The low, medium and high dose NBP group rats were fed different doses of NBP,the learning and memory were tested bya Y-shaped maze detection the H2 S content of the hippocampus and the expression of F-actin were measured. Results Compared to learning and memory scores( 40.38±5.97),H2 S content( 23. 25 ± 3. 61) and the expression of F-actin in control group rats, learning and memory scores( 83. 25 ±5. 47) and H2 S content( 43. 86±6. 95) in rats of model group were increased and F-actin positive expression was reduced( P0.01). Compared with those of model group, learning and memory scores( 64. 75 ± 4. 71)( 70. 00 ± 4. 72) and H2 S content( 32. 21 ± 5. 32)( 36. 78 ±7. 29) in medium, high dose NBP group were reduced and F-actin positive expression was increased( P 0.05). Conclusions NBP could reduce of chronic alcoholism rat alcohol dependence, and mitigate the impact of alcohol on learning and memory abilities of rats with NBP might affect H2 S and F-actin contents relevant.
