Abstract
Hyperuricemia and gout are common and frequently-occuring diseases and can not be cured currently. Although frequently-used clinical hypouricemic medicine,allopurinol,has notably curing effect,its sideeffect is serious,and its application is obviously restricted. As a result,it has been a hot point to search for hypouricemic medicines with high activity and low toxicity. Xanthine Odidase is an important enzyme to catalyze the production of uric acid. This paper aims to review the research achievement for the extraction of natural products and the inhibition of Xanthine Oxidase activity by active site and monomer components.
