Abstract
Making use of variable frequency technology,fix displacement pump driven by variable frequency motor was used instead of other kinds of oil supplies for steering gear hydraulic system.Pump runs at very low speed when steering gear is idling,so that energy saving,lower noise and extension equipment's lifetime were achieved.Comparisons of construction cost,power consumption and system efficiency were made for four kinds of steering gear hydraulic systems in the lab.
