Abstract
It is significant to safeguard water quality of the Duihekou Reservoir,which is an important drinking water source for Deqing residents.Based on the investigation into the water quality and pollution source,the paper analyses water quality variation,major pollution source,safety concerns and inflow pollutant load during 2005—2008.Lake and Reservoir Water Quality Model is utilized to compute the pollutant load that needed to be reduced in order to achieve standard water quality.It also brings forward corresponding pollution control measures with predictions of implementation effects.
