Abstract

Z-source inverter working principle has been analyzed,thus the Z-source inverter buck capability has been verified. The performances of traditional voltage source inverters and current source inverter and Z-source inverter have been compared,then the overall performance of Z-source inverter was verified to be superior to traditional inverters. By analyzing and comparing the constant duty cycle and the maximum straight pass-through of two PWM duty cycle control strategies,two control strategies have been used to get the size of the maximum duty cycle straight through,as well as the maximum switch voltage stress magnitude,which provided the basis for the control of different control strategies under different occasions.
