Abstract
Several PAHs-degrading bacteria were isolated from the soil polluted by oil near Shengli Oilfield with selective medium using phenanthrene as the sole carbon source. One high phenanthrene-degrading strain SLY-3 was chosen and identified as Bacillus sp.by physiological and biochemical characteristics and 16S rDNA.The study on the phenanthrene-degrading characteristics of the strain showed that at 28 ℃,the degradation rate of phenanthrene(80 mg·L-1) was 93.73% after cultured 96 h.The degradation rate of phenanthrene(200 mg·L-1) was 98.36% after 96 h rotary culture.A significant positive relationship was found between bacterial growth and phenanthrene degradation.
