Abstract
Owing to the inability of heart regeneration after injury,heart diseases are becoming more and more dangerous to human’s survival.However,zebrafish,different from some other vertebrates,can regenerate their heart after injury and be manipulated using many genetic methods,which made it a suitable vertebrate model to study heart regeneration.In this review,we summarized the recent advances on zebrafish heart regeneration and analyzed some specific and conserved molecular mechanism involved.In addition,some available suggestions on human heart disease therapy were also provided.
