Abstract
Owing that the thermal fatigue is critical to wheel failures,an instantaneously-non-axisymmetric three-dimensional modeling for tread braking thermal-structure coupling Finite Element Method (FEM) and relevant boundary conditions are established.Afterwards, the dynamic temperature properties under towed and emergency braking conditions are simulated. To this end,the numerical simulation on thermal fatigue, which causes thermal stress from thermal loading,is completed.
