Abstract
Taking different drought-resistance soybean varieties as experimental materials, the effects of drought stress on the plasma membrane permeability of different soybean varieties and different development stages of the same soybean variety were studied in pot culture condition. The results showed that in the former period of drought stress, both the relative conductivity and MDA content in soybean leaf showed the gradually increasing trend and they increased in a small range, but there were the obvious increment in the late period. In different development stages of the same variety the relative conductivity and MDA content increased in different ranges and they increased in a bigger range in flowering period than that in seedling period.
