Abstract
Zhao Yi is a famous historian, poet, and poetic theorist at the Qianjia period of the Qing Dynasty. The author believes that Zhao Yi, Yuan Mei and Jiang Shiquan advocated personality theory. But my thesis insists that Zhao Yi is different from Yuan Mei and Jiang Shiquan in that Zhao Yi, as a historical expert, followed the developing materialism, initiated the constant of poetry, pursued and probed into the way of a-bout poetry content and form, thought of as the judgment standard of poetry of aesthetic value, recovered the law of poetry developing and form a special innovation theory . The author focuses on the difference of Zhao Yi from Yuan and Jiang, annotates his innovation theory in detail in this thesis.
