Abstract
Microamount Phosphorus content in ore samples was determined by Bismuth salts-molybdenum blue spectrophotometfic method, and the optimum conditions were finalized. In the medium of HNO3,the maximum adsorption wave length is 690 nm,the mass concentration of phosphorus is 0-1.2 mg/L and conforms to Beer's law.Using the method had the advantages of high reactions rate, good stability and wide linearity range. This method could be used to determine microamount phosphorus in iron ore samples with satisfactory results.
