Effect of Ratio of N,P and K fertilizer on Yield and Economic Benefits of Pepper in Greenhouse

Abstract

Field experiments were conducted to study the effect of mixed N,P,K application on yield and economic benefits of pepper in second generation greenhouse.The results showed that the tested soil was abundant of available P and K,but lack of available N.The soil was lightly salinized due to over fertilization.The effective order of fertilizers on height and chlorophyll of pepper is NPKNPNKPKCK.Pepper growth was significantly promoted by N application.The effective order of fertilizers on diameter of pepper stem is NPKNKPKNPCK.K had significantly strong pepper stem.Pepper yield was significantly affected by N.The effective order of fertilizers on pepper production is NPK.59% of pepper yield was rely on soil fertilities.The seasonal use ratio of N,P,and K is only 19.27%,4.74% and 13.38% respectively due to over fertilization.N mixed with P,N mixed with k,and N mixed with both of them can promote the ratio of output and input,as well as promote economic benefit for pepper production in greenhouse.
