Application of Fixing Agent TF-506 for Acid Dyes in Nylon/Cotton Dyeing

Abstract

Nylon/Cotton Blends are usually dyed in one bath with direct/acid dyes. This dyeing method has advantages of low cost, short process and rc-dyeable property. After pre-treating with Fixing Agent TF-506 for acid dyes, Nylon/Cotton blends are dyed in weak acid condition(Ph=6) to prevent the up-taking speed of direct dyes on Nylon, at the same time Nylon and Cotton can get higher yield of dyeing. By this way the stability of process and the mood of fabric are increased, retarding property and color fastnesses of acid dyes are improved.
