Primary Development of College Students' Psychological Capital Questionnaire

Abstract

Objective:To explore college students' psychological capital dimensions and develop the questionnaire of college students' psychological capital.Methods:1010 college students were selected,by cluster sampling.According to item analysis,exploratory factorial analysis and confirmatory factorial analysis,the questionnaire was finally completed.Results:The questionnaire included 29 items and was composed of five dimensions,which were self-efficiency,optimism,resilience,gratitude and interest.It had satisfying construct validity,criterion validity,consistency reliability,split-half reliability and re-test reliability.Conclusion:The reliability and validity of this questionnaire has satisfactory psychometric features,indicating that it can be used to investigate the college students' psychological capital appropriately.
