Abstract
The performance of low voltage circuit breaker depends greatly on the movement of arc. Through observation of the arc movement, the principle of the arc can be understood better and performance of circuit breaker can be improved. In the paper, high speed camera is used to study the arc movement. The backcommutation arc image is observed for the first time in the country.
