Climate Characteristic of Hail and Conceptual Model of Hail Suppression in Dalian Region

Abstract
Using the hail records and meteorological data from the seven meteorological stations in Dalian region in the recent 20 years the distribution and climatic characteristics of the hail in Dalian are analyzed,the weather conditions and the related meteorological elements of hail are summarized,and the weather warning indicators for hail suppression operations are generalized.Three major conceptual models for hail suppression operation are studied according to the indicators.Consequently,it provided necessary basic conditions to organize hail suppression operations more scientifically.
