Abstract

Utilizing the main composition analysis, the authors have obtained finding a finding that the dynamic control factors of the sediment in the research district are both the tide action and the tide-wave mixed action. The authors have developed a covariance numerical model of sediment exchange and accretion-erosion change for the first time. With the result of the covariance model and the field measured data, the authors find the accretion and erosion tendency in the research district, which is an accretion-erosion equilibrium on the whole and a slight erosion in part. A relatively stable phenomenon of the accretion equilibrium, the accretion-erosion equilibrium and the erosion equilibrium can be seen in order from the north to the south in the research district.
