Abstract

Objective:To study the effect of proprioceptive dysfunction on activities of daily living (ADL)of the stroke.Methods:67 case stroke patients receiving rehabilitation therapy were divided into two groups-A group (proprioceptive dysfunction) and B group (non_proprioceptive dysfunction),Barthel Index were used to assess ADL.Results:The rate of proprioceptive dysfunction was 48.7%.the total ADL score of A group was less than B group(P0.01). Conclusion :Proprioceptive dysfunction obviously affects the ADL of stroke patients,assessing and training of proprioception should be emphasized.
