Abstract

Nerve growth factor(NGF) is the first founding and best characterized member of the neurotrophin family. n this review, we mainly introduced about the structure and function of NGF, and the bioassay methods, the development of recombinant nerve growth factor, the clinical use about nerve growth factor.In the end, we looked forward to the future of the nerve growth factor.
