Progress on Porcine Contagious Pleuropneumonia

Abstract

Porcine contagious pleuropneumonia(PCP) has been one of important swine contagious diseases in the world.Pathogen-Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae(App) mostly settles down in porcine respiratory tract,and has strict host specificity.Many tests,such as complement fixation test(CFT),enzyme-linked immunosorblent assay(ELISA),latex agglutination test(LAT),indirect fluorescent antibody(IFA),etc.have been established for detecting PCP and epidemiological research.The preparation,classification and application of its vaccines were reviewed in this article.
