Abstract
Bloodletting therapy is one of traditional therapies within Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion field. Given its good results in clinical usage and its low cost,it is still commonly applied in clinic all over the country. This paper reviews 117 related articles,of which 60 are clinical research articles collecting altogether more than 4000 cases,57 are experimental research,and summarizes the last 30 years of clinical experience and therapeutic law for treating hypertension with bloodletting,hopefully this may be used as reference for further studies.
