Abstract

The comparision experiments between heated and non-heated albite show that there are slight structural changes after being heated. It is indicated that the mini changes of the inner structure of albite are related with the heating process.During the process of eliminating Cd~(2+),the eliminating ability of Cd~(2+) of albite is obviously improved after high temperature treatment. This is because the exchanging increasing between the cations of tectosilicate and Cd~(2+) is improved due to the inner structural changes after being heated. In addition, compared with other albite treated under different temperatures, the treatment of 800℃contributes to the strongest repairing ability.
