Abstract
laser-driven flyer device is one of the important ground systems to simulate hypervelocity impact of space debris to spacecraft.Velocity and integrity of the flyer are the key parameters for the device. The effects on the velocity and integrity of flyer in- duced by laser parameters, substrate and ablation layer of flyer targets were discussed.Thickness design and rang of material selection for the substrate and ablation layer of flyer target were also discussed. In recent study,7μm thickness,1 mm diameter aluminum flyer can be launched to 8.3km/s,and the structure of flyer target is single-layered.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
