Discussion on the Urban Vehicle Exhaust Pollution and Control Measures

The vehicle exhaust has become main air pollution source in China, resulting in a serious impact to the urban environmental air quality. The accelerated urbanization process in China and the continuously increased urban population caused the enlargement amount of vehicles as well as the severe exhaust pollution. The pollutants in the vehicle exhaust are various in kinds, difficult to control, and greatly threatened human health. The article introduces the impact to urban environment and human health of various pollutants based on the present situation of domestic vehicle emission. By comparing the controlling technology and measures of vehicle exhaust in other countries, it puts forward some management advices and measures according to our national conditions
