Abstract

Four types of 12 kinds of vegetables sample were collected from the Bengbu's market in August,2012.Nitrate contents were determined by UV-spectrophotometry.The results showed that the contents of nitrate in different vegetable market varied significant, corresponded with the following tendency:Yanan Road vegetable marketGongnong Road vegetable marketHuguang village vegetable marketNanhu village vegetable market;Different varieties of nitrate content of vegetables mean from big to small order celeryternipchinese cabbagegreen vegetablespotatosummer squashspinachasparagus lettuceeggplantgreen pepperonionyam; The contents of nitrate in different vegetables varied significant, vegetables basically corresponded with the following tendency:leafy vegetables root vegetables stem vegetables golanaceous vegetables; All the vegetables in the sample,25% vegetable samples belong to slight pollution, medium contamination was 8.33%,high pollution was 25%,severe contamination was 41.67%;Leafy vegetables were the highest passing rate, reached 91.67%,Stem vegetables were 66.67%,golanaceous vegetables were 58.33%,root vegetables were 50%.
