Commentaries on Rosa Luxemburg’s"Capital Accumulation"

The Accumulation of Capital is the well-known economic work by Rosa Luxemburg.In his book,Luxemburg,centered on Marxist theory of reproduction,argues that capital accumulation cannot be realized in the closed environment in which only workers and capitalists are involved and he also emphasizes that a non-capitalist market is the indispensable element to resolve the issue of capital accumulation.The publication of this book aroused wide attention of his contemporary theorists and caused much controversy.To evaluate Luxemburg’s work and his contribution from the historical perspective is of great theoretical and realistic significance for us to recognize the nature of the present international capital,and reflect on the relationship between the globalization and the development of China’s socialist market economy.
