Abstract

The two geographical populations of Cyclina sinensis of Qidong and Dongtai in Jiangsu province were collected, and the differences of morphological characteristics between them were also analyzed. The results showed that there were differences in the 19 detected morphological traits of the two geographical populations, but there were the significant differences in the meat weight.Related traits of Cyclina sinensis were positive correlation basically and the differences of the correlation coefficient between traits was great. The coefficient between the total weight and the shell weight was the largestbetween the two populations. The coefficient of the total weight and the meat weight was middle.Although the correlation coefficient of the total weight and the meat weight was not the most apparent relevance,it reflected the linear correlation between the total weight and the meat weight.
