Abstract

Objective:To study the chemical constituents from the roots of Ficus hirta.Methods: The chemical constituents were isolated and purified via silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography as well as recrystallization.Their structures were elucidated by chemical and spectroscopic methods.Results: 12 compounds were identified,psoralen(1),3β-hydroxyl-stigmast-5-en-7-one(2),β-sitosterol(3),hexadecanoic acid(5),octadecanoic acid(6),4',5,7-trihydroxy-flavone(7) and α-amyrin acetate(11) have been isolated from this plant,and compounds daucosterol(4),luteolin(8),vitecin(9),physcion(10) and 11-oxo-α-amyrin acetate(12) have been isolated from this plant for the first time.Conclusion: The compounds 9,10 and 12 were obtained from this genus for the first time,and compounds 4,8,9,10 and 12 have been isolated from this plant for the first time.
