Abstract
Gears are widely applied in mechanical design. As a gear has many design parameters, 3D design of gears on Pro/E is complex and time consumed. In this paper, design methods of parameleric modelling of involute dislodgement cylindrical gears is developed by using automatic part design program in Pro/E 2001. The results showed that software developed by above methods can be used to construct gears conveniently and quickly.
