Discussion about Structure and Implementation of PACS/RIS System of Hospital

Abstract

Objective To explore the architecture,hardware software configuration and system operation of PACS/RIS in the medical imaging department.Methods The hardware,software and system operation of PACS/RIS were summarized,and the advantages and disadvantages of the system were analyzed based on the daily maintenance.Results PACS/RIS functioned well despite some failures occasionally,so that the images and patient information could be shared between the clinical departments.Conclusion PACS/RIS system is a comprehensive system that totally solves digital medical image archiving and communication,and it takes important meaning for integrated hospital information system.But further development and improvement are needed.
