Abstract

This paper holds that both teachers and students need to establish three great notions in order to manage the teaching of the course The Outline of Modern and Contemporary Chinese History. Firstly, history is an important part of a nation’s comprehensive power. Secondly, the words and are more than a concept of natural time and it has certain connotations. Thirdly, the theme of modern and contemporary history is to build modern states.
