Curative Effect of Microsurgery on Meningioma

Abstract

Objective To explore the curative effect of microsurgery on meningioma.MethodsData of 20 patients who underwent microsurgical resection of parafalcine meningioma between2006 and 2013were analyzed retrospectively.Results Among the 20 patients with meningeoma,14 underwent Simpson gradeⅠresection,4underwent Simpson gradeⅡ resection,and 2underwent Simpson gradeⅢresection.Conclusion The microsurgery for meningioma increases the resection rate of tumors and improves the quality of life of patients.
