The clinical analysis of acute retinal necrosis in 9 cases

Abstract

Objective To observe the treatment of acute retinal necrosis syndrome(ARNS). Methods Review 12 eyes with 8 ARNS patients during 2006.9-2007.9.The clinical treatment and outcome were analyzed. Results Postoperative vision were improved by different degree in 9 cases of 12 eyes diagnosed ARNS.The vision was HM/BE in 1 eye,CF/20cm~CF/40cm in 2 eyes,0.01 in 4 eyes,0.25 in 1 eye,0.4 in 2 eyes,0.5 in 2 eyes.3 cases(5 eyes) had undergone vitreous-retinal surgery combined retinal laster treatment and 2 cases(2 eyes) only undergone retinal laser treatment. Conclusion ARNS is an intraocular infectious disease that injuries vision severely.Corticosteroid combine with anti-virus medicine,vitrectomy(if necessity) are useful treatments.
