Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of bedside continuous veno-venous hemofiltration(CVVH) on patients with hypernatremin. Methods 11 patients with hypernatremia were treated with CVVH. The compositions of replaced solution were adjusted by the concentration of serum sodium. Results After hemofiltration 2 to 6 hours, the concentration of serum sodium began to decrease, and it returned to normal 6 to 20 hours later. Conclusions CVVH is a safe and effective way for hypernatremia.
