Abstract
An experimental study was performed in a 100mm inner diameter, 4.2m total height air-blown fluidized bed gasifier to investigate the effect of gasification temperature, air to coal ratio and steam to coal ratio on gas composition and heating value. The mechanism of gasification was put forward to analyse the results achieved from experiments. The results indicate that there exists a suitable range of gasification temperature, air to coal ratio and steam to coal ratio for air-blown fluidized bed gasifier. Figs 7, tables 3 and refs 4.
