Abstract

Although premature ejaculation(PE) represents the most common male sexual dysfunction, mechanisms controlling ejaculation process remain poorly understood. In the clinic, the efficacy of various antidepressants to delay ejaculation in men suggests a strong neurobiological function. In this paper we will biefly review animal sexual behavior and the effect of selective serontonin reuptake inhibitor,in addition review the various animal models that have been developed to study ejaculatory function,in order to develop a novel premature ejaculation animal model.
