Abstract

MATLAB,produced by the America Mathworks Company,was a mathematical software system used to calculation in science and engineering.It has characters of good numerical stability and convenience for users.It can efficiently solve problems in science and engineering such as numerical linear hypercomplex system,digital approximation,optimization,numerical quadrature.The paper discused the application of MATLAB in chemical engineering calculation,by exemplifying three calculating.The result showed that it is high efficiency and convenience for users in MATLAB environment.
