Abstract
The theoretical system of Ye Xie's On Poems is not only embodied in his writing theory,but includes his writing theory and outlook of poetry development with open mind as the core.In such a system,prosperity and decline is the natural law and change can lead to prosperity,by which a poet expresses his or her open mind,and then strengthens it with talent,courage,knowledge and strengthand to judgereason,matter,and emotion in order to make it evident,and at last stores it in the natural law.Open mind is not only the effective tool to get rid of the superficial theory of prosperity and decline in both ancient and modern times,but also the first major element in expressing the inexplicit reason,matter,and emotion in literary creation.
