Abstract
Based on the principle of seismic stratigraphy, the onlap and truncation seismic reflection in the 1st Member of Palaeogene Shanghejie Formation were identified.Combined with drilling and logging data, the sequence stratigraphic method was used to divide the 1st Member of Palaeogene Shahejie Formation into three third-order sequences such as SEs31,SEs21,SEs11 from bottom to up,which were correspond to the lower, middle and upper 1st Member of Shanghejie Formation.Entire system tract LST,TST and HST were developed in each of the third order sequence. The space distribution of each sequence is controlled by the main fault of the depression, which results in different thickness and scales in local area.
