Abstract

In this article the development of steel manufacturing route and the trend of optimizing steel plant structure has been reviewed and mentioned. In order to get the market competitiveness, restructuring of steel product program and manufacturing route must be promoted. The manufacturing route of different steel products and corresponding reasonable production scale have been discussed. The determination reasonable scale of steel plant and the principles of engineering optimization for selecting steel manufacturing route are raised. The relationship between raw material and energy supply and manufacturing process is also expounded.
