Abstract

Objective To analyze sleep quality and sleep disturbances of low grade students in Anhui Medical University(AMU). Methods 500 students were cluster sampled. Results Their Pittsburgh sleep guality index (PSQI) score was lower than insomnia and depressive disorder, but higher than “Good” sleepers. The distribution of global PSQI scores differed between groups. The prevalence rate of sleep disturbance in boys was higher than in girls, in city students lower than in country students. Conclusions To enhance students' sleep quality, it is necessary to strengthen instruction in ideal and psychology and to change their ways in sleep duration.
