Abstract
The wheat leaf was used as the material to study the extraction method for extracting pigments from the chloroplast and the effects of light, temperature,Vc and potassium sorbate on the stability of each pigment. The results showed that using silica gel plate thin-layer chromatography, eight bands can be separated from chloroplast pigments of wheat leaf;the content of each pigment decreased under light treatment, while absorbance value of each pigment was impacted little by temperature;Vc and potassium sorbate can protect pigments, and their optimum concentration was 0.02%.Therefore,in practice, the extracted pigments should avoid light and be conserved at low temperature, and it's better to be added with Vc and potassium sorbet at 0.02% concentration to the pigments for conservation.
