Soft Systems Methodology and Philosophy of Science

Soft systems methodology is a very important area in Systems Research; it closely joints and interacts with philosophy of science. The paper analyses the philosophical bases of soft systems methodology and what is the change of its philosophical paradigms which underpin the classic systems engineering turned to soft systems methodology and how the relationship between hard and soft systems methodology is inter-exclusive and inter-complementary.
